Lucky Green

I'm sure many of you saw my mid-week post and were left wondering, "How was Pierce's St. Patrick's Day party?". Well, we'll get to that.

Grandma Maggy got a growth chart for me for Christmas and we put our second mark on it this past week. I've grown about 1/2" in two and a half months! NBA, here I come!
Friday's party at school was a lot of fun. Mom picked me up in the afternoon, after a full day of party and outdoor play and we came home for a quick snack. That allowed time to open a gift from Grandma Kathy and Papa and also a card from Grandma Maggy! Cool!
After the food Mom and I headed off to the Iowa Energy game to meet Dad. It was a really good time and I got to practice my Y-M-C-A dance and eat popcorn! I was way into the game this time - no buzzer is going to scare me any more.
Saturday morning Mom cooked a green breakfast for Dad and me! Eggs and cinnamon rolls. Awesome!

Dad headed off to the golf course so Mom and I headed to the Des Moines St. Patrick's Day parade. It was huge, but didn't have any tractors so we left ...

... and came home for a picnic lunch.

This afternoon I worked on my hole and dug several dump trucks of dirt. It was a lot of work to move the dirt from the front yard to the back yard but I'm a big strong construction guy.

(I'm a sad big strong construction guy cause Mom and Dad called me in for dinner! Not cool! You can't see it real well in this photo, but apparently I had streams of muddy tears running down my cheek.)

Finally, I wanted to leave everyone with a great photo of Uncle Chris and Uncle Matt in Paris this past week. Talk about a great trip! Count me in next year, fellas ...

Happy days, all ...
