This week was nuts!

Suffice it to say loyal readers that I had an odd week. Some new experiences, some time at home with Mom, some TLC and some rest and I've made it through.

The week started off with my first order from the kid's menu at a restaurant. Mom and Dad took me to Mustard's and I got the grilled cheese sandwich. (Dad ate all my fries.)

Thursday I discovered the simple joys that come with work around the house. Who knew that unloading the dishwasher would bring me such pleasure?!

Another thing I discovered this past week was climbing up the stairs, taking a right, then a left and making my way into the guest bedroom. Dad's keeping a few of his putters there while work goes on in the basement and there is a great big basket that is fun to open and close, open and close, open and close, open and close, open and close, open and close and open.

Sometimes I touch things I shouldn't so I have to shoot Mom or Dad a cute look to get out of trouble. (They always fall for it.)

Saturday we had brunch at the Fletchers. Grant and I got to eat first.

Grant was so nice, he shared his Legos with me.

After Fletchers I got taken to a scary, scary place ... the fabric store. YIKES!
Our next stop was ...
... yep, you guessed it ... Home Depot!

After such a busy day I was pooped. Grandma Maggy came over to spend the evening with me as the parentals had plans.

Mom and Dad went to see Dead Horse Trauma and support the band at their CD release party.

Dad said that they were probably the oldest people in the room. Both said they were impressed, but their ears hurt. The band's drummer is a friend of Dad's from Flynn Wright who is a very talented guy.

Finally, I want to send a big "shout out" to my Uncle Matt who ran the San Antonio marathon today! That's a very impressive thing ...

Tootles!

Love, Pierce.
