A short update ...

Hi, gang. This week's update is going to be a short one. The week started out with tennis then after school Mom and I went to Grant Fletcher's baseball game. (He was an all star and I was very impressed!)
After the game we talked about his play, hitting strategy and the cool medal he got. I think I want to try baseball!
The rest of the week was pretty much a blur. Saturday the family hung out at home. I saw Caillou pretend to be in a marching band so had Mom set me up with a drum right away.
All was going well until I went to march outside and one of my drumsticks fell through the patio boards. What to do?!
Well, I'll tell you what I did! Using my brilliance I reasoned that a magnet on a string would allow me to fish my drumstick out from under the deck. Dad helped me get it set up and I tried my best but just couldn't get it. Oh well, at least I tried.
After realizing that I wasn't going to bring my drumstick back I turned my attention to the sandbox. It had been feeling left out lately and was glad to be played with.
Saturday night wasn't fun. Miss Nicole came over so Mom and Dad could go to the Corndog Kickoff at the Fairgrounds but it wasn't meant to be. Everyone was dressed, Miss Nicole had arrived, Mom and Dad were getting ready to head out and WHAM. I puked. Yep, puked. Pandemonium ensued and needless to say Mom and Dad stayed home. It was a long night and I didn't like puking at all. Thankfully I was better today. Better enough that the family made a trip to Snookies!
That's it for the week. There were two key takeaways ... 1) Baseball is cool. 2) Puking is not. Also, before I go I'd like to introduce everyone to Buddy. This is Grandma Maggy's new dog. We haven't met yet, but I'm sure we'll eventually be friends.
Bye!
