Back at it ...

This week marked the end of my first official school winter break. (I don't quite understand what all the fuss was about because, in the end, I seemed to be as busy during break as I am during school.)

Anyway, Monday Grant came over and we played firehouse in the basement (NO Moms allowed) and then headed out ...
... to Incredible Pizza!
Mom and I rode the go carts.
Grant and I played Guitar Hero. It was fun! (His mom even got to join us for lunch and some play time.)
New Year's Eve was uneventful and New Year's Day was spent trying to stay out of Dad's way as he was on a tear and wanted to organize every closet in the house. One time, early in the process, I caught him trying to put a toy I didn't know I had buried in my room, that I got back in 2010 from someone I don't know, in a pile for Goodwill! You can rest assured I put a stop to that!

Wednesday Mom and I met Dad for lunch. Beforehand we grabbed my piggy bank and went to the bank so I could deposit my money into my account. My piggy bank is empty now, so I need to work hard and fill it back up!
After the bank we picked Dad up and headed to the restaurant. I got to "feed the meter"...
... and order my own cheese pizza! Yum!
Mom and Dad talked about how they first met at this restaurant back in 2001 during our entire lunch. It was very mushy and I kept asking why I wasn't invited to that first lunch. (They didn't have a good answer.)

Thursday I went back to school and it was good to see my friends. Other than that the rest of the week was pretty mellow. We had a fun Saturday evening with the Whites in Ankeny but nobody remembered to take any pictures.

Since this is my first post of 2013 I want to thank all my readers who stuck with me through thick and thin in 2012. I wish nothing but the best for everyone this year. Here's to happiness, health, a stable tax structure and reasonable yields on long term treasury bonds.
