Travel

Travel seemed to be a good theme for this week's blog.

Mom put this picture on Facebook and got such good response that I thought I'd put it here as well. Here I am wearing the jammies Mom and Dad got me when they traveled to London a few months ago. Mom says that I'm ready to marry my princess. Dad asked for a helicopter ride. Anyway, I'm really cute. I get it.
Wednesday Mom and I took Dad to the airport. I was in my car seat so I couldn't really give him a big hug so I just squeezed his head. Safe travels, Dad!

While Dad was traveling Mom and I drove to Iowa City to hang out at the kid's museum and spend the day with Kristen and Lauren. The first thing that happened upon our arrival was an emergency call.

Lauren and I loaded up and traveled to help.

After getting back from the rescue we traveled through our imagination using instruments from the music room.

Pierce Miller - Alaskan bush pilot!

Thursday wasn't even a regular day at school - I got out early to get a haircut from Becky. Friday Mom sprung me early and we traveled to Robin's house to meet a bunch of new kids. Estee has four kids, Robin has two and then there was me. We had a blast. I even got to put on a bit of a concert.

Group photo! Estee traveled from South Dakota for the visit and this was the first time Mom, Robin and Estee had been together since Robin's wedding. They spent a lot of time talking about the fun they had at the Blue Ribbon Foundation back in the day.

After Robin's we traveled to pick Dad up and spent the rest of the night on the couch watching movies. Saturday was a much needed lazy day at home but things got pretty lively in the evening. After Lawrence Welk and a couple of Coldplay videos I was ready to rock! Grandma Maggy and I watched Coldplay at ACL a couple of weeks ago then Mom taped their Saturday Night Live performance for me. I was inspired to write ...

... and write some more, until I was inspired to do something else.

Today we traveled to church. Mom taught Sunday School while Dad and I were greeters. I wore my favorite new sweater (thanks Grandma Maggy!) and got a lot of compliments.

I think that's it for now, gang.

Have a great week!

Pierce
