Time flies ...

On the 3rd, Pierce will be 12 weeks old. That is 1/4 of a year!

Here are some photos plus a surprise on the video (excuse dad's poor camera work).

Funny face ...

Bath time ...

Grandma time ...

Time with our friends Jennifer and Evan Smithson ...

Rolly polly time!

A busy couple of weeks in Lake Wobegon ...

Yes, we know ... it has been awhile.

Pierce had his shots on the 11th and was a champ.

Last weekend we took a roadtrip to Grandma and Grandpa Houston's farm.

Uncle Eric came up from Gardner.

Grandpa showed his "magic hands" ...

... and Pierce met Great Uncle Tim.

He got stared at ...

... had a bit of an "accident" on poor Uncle Eric ...

... attended a service at Denmark UCC ...

... hung with Clayton ...

... and posed with Grandma and Grandpa.

Baby human met baby bovine ...

... heard about how orange tractors are supposedly better than green ones ...

... and saw where he'll ride with Grandpa on his tractor.

After our visit we all came back to Des Moines. He played ...

... and practiced being cute.

We visited our friends the Dillons ...

... met Grant White ...

... and went to Avery's birthday party where we spent time with Bryce and Avery's dad Steve!

Have a great week!

Weekly Reader

We had a good week.

Daycare went well ... Pierce is starting to get into a routine/schedule ... Mom is back to work.

After a long week our friend Bryce came over for a visit ...

Saturday we went and visited Annette ...

... then were off to the mall to shop for a gift for our new friend Grant White ...

... (Pierce LOVES shopping) ...

... Grandma Maggy's was on the agenda Saturday night ...

... and Sunday included church and a fashion show with Dad. (Cool guys wear hats.)

We know ... we know ...

... updates have slowed. Responding to popular demand we will do our best to update more regularly.

This past week was a busy one (they all seem to be).

Jon's Aunt Pat and Uncle Ron came by for a visit ...

... we said goodbye to Uncle Chris (sad) ...

... Pierce got to play on his changing table (which always makes him happy) ...

... Grandma Kathy came to visit and watched Mama Mia with Amy and Pierce (Pierce may have an odd fascination with ABBA) ...

... we visited Pierce's new daycare ...

... and talked to Pastor Ken at Pierce's first trip to church ...

... yep, it was a good week.

Sunday

Jon and Amy went to church, Chris hung with Pierce and Grandma Maggy stopped by for a visit.

Everyone agreed that Pierce was cute ...

... Grandma and Uncle Chris bowled on the Wii ...

... Pierce tried to eat his hand ...

and some folks took naps ...

A good Sunday was had by all!

More of Pierce ...

Grandpa Houston commented yesterday that the blog hadn't been updated since January 17. We took the hint so here are some more photos ....

Pierce enjoying a visit from his friend Lauren Waldschmidt (2 weeks older than Pierce) ...

Pierce cuddling with Grandma and Grandpa Houston (he slept almost through their entire visit!) ...

Pierce hanging with Uncle Chris (his good buddy) ...

Pierce just being adorable!

All Pierce, all the time ...

A funny thing about this blog ... folks get impatient if it isn't regularly updated and nobody wants to see pictures of Jon or Amy. So, here you go ... more Pierce photos.
