I had to help Mom and Dad pick out a new door for the house. (You'd think they would understand that the rough opening height measurements will always be larger than the actual door frame measurements. Jeez. It's hard to raise parents.)
Dad went to Okoboji with the guys for their annual golfing trip so we went out to eat before he left. There was a lot to look at from the patio.
Mom finally put me in my Iowa State shirt and, as you can see, I was very happy about it!
Then we had to go to Sam's Club and it was a downer.
Luckily, we then headed to Denmark to see the Houston family! Grandma had some cool new toys!
I got to have lunch with my friend Clayton ...
Grandpa helped me go down the slide ...
... and I got to swing for the first time. It was kind of cool!
Happy Memorial Day, everyone!

Ok, sorry, but hands down your child is the most adorable!! I just can't get over how cute he is!! Anyway, glad to see Pierce had a good time in Denmark :) I went to garage sales w/ your mom and mine while I was home a few weeks ago-your mom is one serious shopper at garage sales! Mom and I wanted to video tape her running (literally) to a playset she saw from the side of the street! Anyway, looks like the next time we'll be home is the week leading up to the 4th of july. Hopefully one of these trips home we'll get to meet up and see Pierce again, but in the meantime keep the pictures coming :)! (oh, by the way, where'd you get the feeding chair?? I totally want one like that instead of a highchair. I saw one at Target, but yours looked a bit bigger and sturdier ;)
Hey totally digs that swing. Love the updates! Hello to Pierce from way down south.
I don't know which was more fun. Looking at the cute pics or reading the captions. On that first pic, what's on Pierce's head? That looks like the rags I dust my furniture with. And Amy, I am SOOOOOOOOOO with you. You and Eric did NOT have cool outdoor toys like Pierce...You had a cattle tank to swim in and then they only let you have 2" of water in it!!! We DO need to talk about the Iowa State shirt. I think a Hawkeye shirt would definitely bring out the blue eyes and blonde hair and smile!! It was good seeing you both. Bring that Jon home with you sometime. Aunt Sherry
