Tuesday was a "regular" day but I made a startling discovery. A whisk, a rolling pin and the cool egg beater Mom and Dad got from Jocelyn Alton as a wedding gift can be used to mix concrete, smooth a road and complete necessary repairs to a section of interstate highway. Mom and Dad looked confused the whole time I has having this brainstorm but by the end they had to admit I had really fixed things and they couldn't wait to drive on the road.
Wednesday Dad left town for a meeting so, of course, it snowed. As the designated man of the house I knew this meant that I had to jump into action. Boots? Check. Gloves? Check. Shovel? Check.
I worked fast so Mom could get me to school. I had important work to do!
Take that, snow!
Dad flew back into town on Friday and brought me a shirt from a real Chicago fire station! (The video is of the actual station and that made the shirt even cooler.) Fireman Pierce!Saturday was an awesome day! Grant came over for a few hours and we played hard! Things started off with computer work in our fort.
